A National Tax Number (NTN) is your registration with the Federal Board of Revenue. Individuals register on IRIS using their CNIC; businesses, associations of persons and companies register with their own documents. Businesses dealing in taxable goods or services may also need sales tax registration (STRN) with FBR or the provincial or ICT revenue authority.
