How pre-arrest and post-arrest bail works in Pakistan
Under sections 497 and 498 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, bail provides release from detention or protection from unlawful arrest. Pre-arrest bail is moved before the Sessions Court or High Court to shield against malafide arrest, while post-arrest bail is sought after detention. The court examines the FIR, police file, and evidence before granting relief subject to solvent surety bonds.

To file khula in Pakistan, the wife files a suit for dissolution of marriage in the Family Court where she ordinarily resides, with her nikahnama and CNIC. The court summons the husband and attempts reconciliation; if that fails, it decrees khula. The Union Council then issues an effectiveness certificate after 90 days.

Which courts does A.R Advocates appear in?
We appear before the Islamabad High Court, the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench, and the district, sessions and Family Courts in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Do you handle cases for overseas Pakistanis?
Yes. Khula, talaq, property, succession and power-of-attorney matters for clients in the UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia, the USA and Canada are a large part of our work. Most run through a special power of attorney.
Can I get a same-day consultation for bail?
For pre-arrest bail and other urgent criminal matters we usually meet the same day. Call or WhatsApp rather than using the form.
Do you register companies with SECP?
Yes. We handle name reservation, incorporation, NTN and ongoing compliance for private limited companies, single-member companies and LLPs.
How are your fees charged?
Advisory and documentation work is usually a fixed fee. Litigation is quoted per stage. You receive the quote in writing before any work starts.
Is my first conversation confidential?
Yes. Everything you tell us in a consultation is kept confidential, whether or not you go on to instruct the firm.
