When can I file a writ petition?
When a public authority acts unlawfully and the law gives you no other adequate remedy.
How can a name be removed from the ECL?
Through a review before the Ministry of Interior and, if that fails, a writ petition before the High Court.
Can the High Court stop a government order immediately?
In urgent cases the court can suspend the order while the petition is decided.
